Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th 1967, is an American actress and producer as well as writer. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). Bello was a TV actress as Dr. Anna Del Amico, a medical drama that was aired from 1997 to. She also played the role of Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016 and as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS which she portrayed as the main agent. Bello was born April 18, 1967, in Norristown (PA) and was the daughter of Kathy, a teacher and school nurse, and Joe Bello. She also appeared on the series Touch (1997-1998). Bello has several other prominent roles, including Michelle McBride in 2016 and Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane from 2017 to 2021. Bello studied political science at Villanova University. Bello trained her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions following graduation. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. She wrote in November 2013 about her identical-sex relationship with Clare Munn, and how it ended. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28 in 2015).
