Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an influential political contributor to CNN. She was involved in the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki later served as the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. Psaki was press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 February, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House on May 30, 2014 it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. In 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
