Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie, born on November 24 1981, is an American political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate and a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on guest appearances on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her further fascination with politics due to the fact that she became a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able to observe the effect it had on people in Jordan and gained an appreciation for the worldwide influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 to August 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
